Angelo Fallaria is a first year postgraduate student at the Royal Academy of Music under the tutelage of Ryland Davies and James Cheung. Having begun with choral singing, Angelo later branched out into classical & oratorio work, and more recently, early music and historical performance. He began formal vocal training at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance Junior Department in 2017 before moving to the Royal Academy for his undergraduate studies. His training has developed a voice with pure tone and great flexibility, able to grasp a variety of styles of music with both strength and sensitivity.

Angelo is a member of the Philharmonia Chorus and has worked with Itzhak Perlman and Maxim Emelyanychev leading the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall and Royal Albert Hall. He also participated in a joint project with singers from all the London conservatoires in their performance of Schoenberg’s Gurrelieder conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen at the St Denis Basilica. At the Academy he has performed in the Royal Academy Opera’s production of Chérubin. Angelo has made regular appearances as the tenor soloist with the East London based Wyatt Sinfonia in various performances including the Mozart Requiem and Handel Messiah. In January he will be performing as a soloist in the concert series, Bach in Leipzig, led by John Butt.
